Our Robbiane ceramics are made with the technique of glazed terracotta, developed by the Della Robbia dynasty, a family of sculptors and ceramists active in Florence (Tuscany) during Renaissance. Robbiane ceramics are resistant to the ravages of time and keep the brightness and vibrancy of the enamel colors unaltered. In Italy these works of art are cemented outdoor on the exterior of buildings, or hung indoor on a wall, as a benediction on the house.

Each piece is hand-worked and hand-painted, so photos may differ in some detail.

The signature on the back certifies the "Made in Italy" handicraft production.
