Finally, we are presented with a unique image of the Pope, in his own apartment, having dinner with Bishops.


The II Vatican Council

Appointed in 1959 by Pope John XXIII, the II Vatican Council took place between 1962 and 1965, and represented a fundamental turning point for the Catholic Church, reforming customs and secular traditions, both on a liturgical and a canonical level.
