“The year 2025 is for the Catholic Church the year of the Ordinary Jubilee, in which the Vatican Library participates in accordance with its nature as an institution of science, preservation and study, revealing to the world, for the first time, one of its treasures: a collection of about 1,200 newspapers, of more than 1,000 different titles, from the most distant, if not remote, locations in the world, and dating from the last decades of the nineteenth century to the early twentieth century.
