Voci di carta - Dall’ universo della stampa cattolica

Voci di carta - Dall’ universo della stampa cattolica
Autore/i: Angelo Paoluzi
Editore: LEV Libreria Editrice Vaticana
Code (SKU): 9788820988456
This book on the world Catholic press is the result of an inquiry conducted by the author over two years at Vatican Radio in the “Orizzonti cristiani” column. It is a sort of complete anthology, perhaps the first genuine compendium of a reality which examines not only the general channels – namely the means of communication – but also the supporting structures, such as the Vatican Press Office, considered to be one of the greatest achievements of the Council. Fifty years after the beginning  of this great assembly, and on the eve of the Year of Faith, the relationship between Council and Catholic communication represents one of the main objects for the forthcoming reflection. In this context, the work by Angelo Paoluzi represents a great opportunity which should not to be missed.

Angelo Paoluzi, journalist, essayist, literary critic, foreign policy expert, has been a correspondent in Germany and France for Il Popolo newspaper. He has been also an editor in chief, vice-director and director of Avvenire, editor of L’Osservatore Romano. He collaborates with the Vatican Radio and he has held Journalism courses and lessons in various Pontifical Universities. He is author of various essays, among which Guida al giornale (LDC, 1981), Appunti pratici di giornalismo scritto (Aracne, 1998), Giornalismo. Teoria e pratica (with Giuseppe Costa, Las, 2006).
