The splendid terracotta figures of the Velardita crib are objects of high craftsmanship appreciated by collectors all over the world. The characters of the crib are inspired by the ancient Sicilian trades of the XIX century and are distinguished by the extraordinary expressiveness of the faces and the naturalness of posture. The costumes are made entirely by hand with a thin leaf of clay and give softness to the figure. Finally, the statues are painted entirely by hand by specialized artists of Caltagirone (Sicily).
The size refers to the scale of the crib and not to the individual statue. Each piece is finished and painted by hand, therefore photos may differ in some detail. 100% Made in Italy.
